Day Breakers

 Now this movie is old around 2009 but I could really care less. When I first started to watch this movie I didn't think it was going to be good. I wanted to watch it for a quick laugh on how the age of vampires have plagued the movies theaters lately especially Twilight. How ever it turned out to be a really good film with great characters a very complex story line and hell some decent effects. Followed by a few cheesy ones as well.
  Now the plot which is my favorite thing about this movie basically its a world ran by vampires. Some where along the line a plague started and humans started turning into vampires. On a side note don't you thing that it would be easier for them to to kill the first few vampires before this thing got away out of hand. However with the increasing number of vampires humans were becoming extinct. So what do the vampires do farm humans. Yeah no matter where you go there is going to be people and vampires alike exploiting the shit out of everything to grow.
Soon even farming wouldn't even be enough and the vampires started to starve in this they turned into subsiders basically your typical bat winged humanoid that live on basic instinct and feed on any blood possible. Here is where the main character comes in Edward (played by Ethan Hawke) who is working for the main antagonist Charles (played by Sam Neill) Edward hates human blood and refuses to drink it and when he is driving he crashes into humans.
He saves them when the vampire police show up and they take off this is where you meet his brother Frankie (played by Micheal Dorman). Who tires to convince his brother to drink human blood oh I forgot to mention he hunts humans (WHAT A DOUCHE) . When Frankie leaves he is confronted by the human he saved Audrey (played by Claudia Karvan). Where she takes him to meet this guy named Elvis no not the singer that died on the toilet from a drug overdose no the one that was in Spider Man who played the Green Goblin Willem Dafoe.
Elvis use to be a vampire but when he was thrown from the windshield he was set on fire from the sun and fell into the water only to emerge human. So Elvis take Audrey take Edward to their hideout and they figure out the sun is the cure. In the meantime a caravan of humans that were heading to the hideout were tracked down by who else Frankie again WHAT A DOUCHE. One of the girls who so happens to be Charles daughter  doesn't get tranked calls for help then gets tranked and they follow the signal to the hideout. Luckily everyone else gets out but  Edward and the gang decide to stay and  successfully turn him human again.
This proves that fire fixes everything I just found the fucking cure for cancer everyone. When they go to the new hideout they find everyone dead well that sucks onto the next scene.
 Now this scene is gruesome while they were out making the cure the blood vanished and subsiders and the vampire military capture them. No back the Charles daughter her dick of a father turned her in a vampire and  she refused to drink blood and became on. When the captured them they dragged them into the sunlight this included his daughter which gave me this holocaust feel seeing them burn only to be extinct it was really touching scene. Now back to Ed and his adventures;
  So they go talk to this science guy the Ed use to work with as a vampire but that guy ends up calling the vamp police yeah ... he is A SUPER BITCH. So Audrey gets taken away and now they have to find her and who happens to show up that's right Edwards douche of a little brother Frankie. This time Frankie sees that Ed is human and decides to help but only after he bites the living fuck out of Elvis. So Ed goes to the vampire FBI building I guess and goes straight up to Charles only to find him using Aubrey as an all you can eat buffet. Charles bites Ed and he starts to have a seizure and turns into a human showing that vampires that turn human blood is the cure.
Ed escapes and and ties Charles to a chair and sends him down the elevator to a shit ton of hungry vampires. Yeah they bite his head off so on to the next scene. So they head down to find Frankie a human and again a shit ton of hungry vampires Frankie tells Ed to run so he and Audrey hide while Frankie Gets feasted upon oh brotherly love it well kill you ... I'm fucking serious. So wave after wave of vampires feed on each other after they turn human you would think they would learn by now but no. Then when Ed an Audrey come out of hiding that science guy remember the super bitch he kills the now humans and holds a gun at Ed only for Elvis to save the day BOOM HEAD SHOT. So it cuts to the next scene where they ride off into the sunset saying they have the cure.
As I said before great movie interesting plot but the ending was lacking that was they real downer of the movie. It is worth seeing and I give it my ABOMBS SEAL OF APPROVAL

 

The Social Network

For you that dont know there is a movie coming out about facebook. Yes I know facebook seems like a boring movie right.Actually the history on how facebook was created is actually interesting. Basically they were sued left and right and were saying violated peoples rights. As the movie hasnt came out I cant say much more about it but I do plan to see it and I well update it.

Halo Reach

                          So as my first blog post I well start with the review of Halo Reach. What well I say about this game is that its fantastic game. What I well start on is campaign first of all you are this spartan and you are called noble six. Here you are teamed up with the of members of your team and go on difficult missions. The reason why these are so difficult is beacuse the enemy AI is outstanding you can tell how they get progresively get harder as the campaign goes on.
                     What I truley like about campaign that it rewards you for trying new stratagies for if you die and tweek it you well beat that mission. Now one new feature that I loved about this game is space combat I do believe it is the sixth mission were you acutally get to go up in space and have dog fights and see other dog fights around you. On this down side though there is no online space combat yeah I know how cool would it be if you could actually hve dog fights with your friends but oh well.

                    Now there are a few new features in this game such asJET PACKS yes something that makes this game that alot more awsome just flying over your enemies and BOOM head shot. There are also a few new power up such as sprint yeah I know it doesnt come naturally. Also a there is a armor lockdown where basically you are invinicible for a short amount of time but cant do anything so I would wait for some team mate to be around to kill this guy trying to kill you. Throw Shield which explains itself but you cant shoot through it and they cant shoot you. Last but not least camoflauge the downside with this is that you cant move or you well be seen but yo can move slowley without being seen.
         Now we go onto the the best part of the reveiw the multiplayer. Now Halo Reach brings aspects back from both Halo 3 and ODST. With ODST they bring back fire fight for you that dont know it is basically a survival game your placed here pick your difficulty and survive for a said amount of time and rack up points. With Halo 3 they bring basically every other game mode back I cant remeber if invasion was part of Halo 3 but yeah thats in this game to. The game play is amazing as usual and I have to say it is probaly the second best online playing I played in a long time.

                  So how do I feel about Halo Reach well to tell you the truth I loved this game. With and amazing campaign and a multiplayer just as good this game well make you keep coming back. I fell I could play the campaign over and over again. Now that I said this I well keep you up to date with the DLC and any other thing that have to do with Halo. On the down side I this is supposed to Bungies last Halo game as their contract expired with Microsoft and they didnt want to renew it so yeah I dont expect the Halo games to keep up their standard of excellence.
